Liverpool benefits from amazing architecture and wonderful maritime history. During the late 19th and early 20th century, Liverpool was an extremely important port. Today the Albert Dock is one of Liverpool’s most important tourist attractions and a vital component of the city’s UNESCO world heritage Maritime Mercantile City.

Don’t forget it is also the birthplace of The Beatles, so a visit to the Beatles Museum and The Cavern has to be on the itinerary!
